I've heard guys going to 1/8th tank with no issues at all. Which is impressive, I was having issues at 1/4 with feed hose inside tank

I know the point of the sump. Lol. But I'm always over worried about situations. Say fuel light is on left or right hand corner with a bump. Fuel settles somewhere else in the tank for a short period of time and pump sucks air. Then you could always argue the fact not to drive like a jackass on low low fuel levels also. Lol Obviously I don't have experience with a sump. So I would ask the questions before just diving in.
That's the only reason I haven't bought the sump. I had a extra canister and started to mod it for the 044. The sump seems like less of a headache if something goes wrong. Sent from ![]() ![]() first you have to know how a fpr works... then you will understand that you will be ok,,, also good idea to fill up before 1/8 tank the fpr will regulate the pressure before the regulator the unused fuel is returned to the tank, if for some reason your running low on fuel you will not return as much to the tank, the fpr will do everything in it power to keep the fuel at your set value, by returning more or less fuel.... Yes at some point it will return no fuel and u will run out. O

Any where else I can get a sump like that 165 $ is kinda pricy I think . I need to install one on my car 1/2 tank with new set and getting screeching from the pump. I'm also -8an (1/2inch ) fuel line to the pump.
Just curious If I just just the pick up line to sit in the orginal fuel cansiter will that work of I put the line twords the end of the cansiter ? Sorta like a internal sump ?

You could always do a Full Blown dual pump set-up. That way you wont have to cut your fuel tank and what not. Just throwing it out there.
