Misfiring and Lights Flickering - SRT Forums

Hey, recently my car began running extremely rough and inconsistent, and at low RPMs it bucks and surges not running smooth. Also I've started noticing that my dash lights and headlights flicker for about 5 minutes after I start my car and begin driving. If I drive faster the flickering gets worse, if I turn the lights off for about 5 minutes while the car is running and turn it on again, it will usually work. I have replaced the ignition wires and tomorrow I'm putting in new spark plugs. Do you think the flickering and misfiring are related? I'm going to take a look at the TPS also after the plug but I don't know if it would fix the guage lights. Thanks for your time.

sounds like the coil is going bad

my lights slightly flicker...but i have cams/cam gears

Check your grounds.

Check to make sure that the negative side of the battery is connected solid. Also there is a grounding strap close to the PCM (on the top radiator support) that connects the harness to chassis ground... make sure that is also on solid.

Can someone tell me where the TPS harness connects to after coming out of the throttle body? I'm going to check the grounds tonight and look into a new coil. Thanks
