Default how lean can you run e85

Ive been doing a lot of research lately on this fuel and i have yet to find out how lean is safe for e85.

currently I'm running 650cc injectors and getting no kr at all. timing is 28.5 during spool climbing to 32*+ at redline @20psi on stock turbo.
i've tried plenty of mixtures and finally found the right mix for the car.
Just wondering how lean we can go. From my understanding e85 is around 105 octane rating.
The car absolutley loves e85 mix.

right now the af's are 12.0 to 12.2 with no kr.

thanks in advance for input.

p.s. gas mileage is not as great with e85. im getting about 50miles less per tank.

i wouldn't go any higher than 12.5 on full boost. i typically try to keep it as close to 11.5 with straight e-85.

i think lambda for e-85 is 9:1 gas is 14.7:1. so i think 12.5 on e85 is super lean.

funny thing is on 40/60 mix (e85/93 pump) stock turbo SRTs will see pretty decent power gains at 10.8-11.5 AFR...i havent tried 50/50 because i need more injector

7.5:1 on E85 should be good according to that article...

with bigger injectors than stock...yes on stock injectors you wouldnt have a enough fuel to run anything more than a 15-20% E85 to pump mix. The rule is to run e85 is that you need 20-30% larger injectors or use a conversion kit

the car i posted about is running s2 injectors and s1 pcm but i need more injector given the mods. Car made 295whp/280wt @ 14psi on a 40% e85/60% pump mix....AFRs pegged in the 10s

Go to Evo forums, LOTS of E85 info over there. I have a buddy with an Evo on E85 and he made 456 on Buscher's dyno on a FP Red. Another one with a 35R that made almost 600whp on just E85 at a local dyno, that thing will lite the tires up in 1st! They keep there afr's around 11.5, they tried 12.0 but stared getting knock. Some of the E85 guys are doing high compression builds now, like 10.0:1! That's crazy, but I know one guy made over 1000awhp with 10:1 and E85.

If E85 was more prevalent in this area I'd switch to it, but only 1 station within 50 miles.
