Im upgrading to S3, with a ported and polished turbofold, and a 47lb wheel. My fuel setup now cant keep up with the 20 psi i'm running on the stock turbo. I'm installing a Walbro 255 and a rewire.
Question; Are the low impedence injectors any better than the regular high impedence ones? Who makes the best quality injectors for the SRT-4? If I need to get the low impedence, where do I get the resistor box for them?
Opinions are greatly appreciated.

our cars can ONLY handle high imp. injectors (without a driver or resistors) if you usle low imp. injectors you will burn out the ECU
low imp. injectors by nature are better, they have less open/close delay allowing them to be used at lower PW, they are more accurate
some high imp. injectors are close to the performance but for now low is better
that being said what YOU need will be dependant on the application IE: buying low imp. injectors just cause they have a tiny (and it is miniscule) advantage is just plain dumb, now the nature of the allows more fuel flow BUT there is a limit if they are too big they will not be able to idle or have any control in the lower PW area
so get what fits..........

Low imp injectors can work faster in the lower pressure ranges, once you are at 55+ psi the advantage of the Low impedence is negated by pintle pressures, this will slow the injector down on the "close" cycle.
High impedence injectors are generally unaffected by fuel pressures up to 70 psi or so. After that normal injectors start to flake out.
These are the exact reasons I went with Injector Dynamics - They are made for high fuel pressure and are plug and play with our stock harness and rail fitment.
Have a read here: Injector Dynamics Finish that page and you will get an idea of what is up.

You need to call T1 and request the SRT-4 Kit - it should include - 4 connectors (you will not need) - 4 injectors (you will need) - A sheet of paper with the Usec/Deadtimes/Flow numbers on it (your tuner will need) - and a tidy little white box that is amazingly non-descript.
I also know a shop that sells the ID 1000's for the SRT-4 - in stock last time I checked. They do not vendor here so PM's for details.
