Default Gas Prices Killing me... Any suggestions??

Looking for a way to get better gas mileage out of my srt. I drive close to 3500 miles a month. Shellin out 200 bucks a week is killing me. Return line? Water injection? Any suggestions? Currently have PnP Exhaust mani, PnP turbo, PnP O2 housing, stock exhaust, Mopar CAI, PTP waste gate, BigFMIC, Mapclamped and tuned, stage 1... Get 29hwy and 22 if im lucky in town.. 05 with 110k... yes that right 110k....

Seen that car runs on water BS, that stuff kinda scares me but with the trend in gas prices, might check it out....

Any Ideas let me know

Thanks

e85 gets worse gas mileage

contrary to belief a returnline doesnt affect mpg. the car still shoots the same amount of fuel needed to operate correctly at a 14.7:1 afr during closed loop/idle

get rid of those heavy ass rims of yours and put something smaller on there. Less rotational mass will make a difference. Taller tires may help too, as you can be at 61mph at say 2400rpm but really be doing 65mph, instead of 65mph at 2600rpm...there's always things to do. Make sure you're damn near at max tire pressure too

rotational mass only makes a difference during acceleration and then its only a small one. Its deffinately not worth any effort to change to lighter wheels to get better mpg.

0) DON'T BUY ANY PARTS if you can't afford to buy gasoline

1) If you have a Innovate LC-1/Lm-1 wideband or a wb that you can reprogram the analog output, I have a proven way to get 10%-12% better mpg. (up to ~32mpg in your case) It leans the ecu stoich switch point.

2) Unhook the wastgate arm. Seriously, 0psi in the best gas saver. AND ITS FREE!! You can hook it back up when ever you want in about 2 minutes. I'm sure thats worth about 2-3mpg, especially in the city

3) Keep your tires at max psi---good tip Turbocruiser13

4) Buy cheap 87 oct gas. ~$10 a week savings

5) Practice reducing the frequency of your braking. Long, long ago my drivers ed teacher used to challenge us to drive all the way from downtown Springfield,il to our highschool 25 miles away but you could only hit the brakes THREE times. Sounds hard but it could be done. It helps city mpg quite a bit(3-4mpg)

6) if you have an exhaust dump, I'd keep it open as much as possible.

Air your tires up to 55psi
Swap all your oils over to synthtic
Watch your tune very close (new plugs and wires every 30k miles or 15k miles)
Get a FPR (filters get clogged in them all the time)
Get a fuel pump rewire (several have stated they have seen gains in MPG after install)
Other then that, pray that gas prices start to come down.

Whenever possible clutch it when you hit a downhill to keep the rpms as low as possible. I seem to get a good 5 mpg extra on average when I do that.
