evo why do you want to replace it with braded line?? do we have to do that?

good luck on the install evo pm me the thread when you've finished. im quite nervous about this but it needs to be done stock fpr is crap

I haven't started this project yet. I've procrastinated a bit as I still have to buy all the fittings and fuel line.

The larger braided line was going to replace the stock hard line. I wanted to enlargen the entire fuel system while I'm at it to make it more effective. I was going to have a -6an fitting welded to the stock rail so that the braided line can connect to it. However I have reconsidered this idea since some think that welding a fitting on the rail can pose some future problems. And I really don't want to spend money on a aftermarket rail because quite frankly the stock rail is just as good if not better in terms of flow.

So I'm just going to do the bottleneck mod attached to the stock fuel line for now.

Well, only thing I can say is that you should take a time going over every connections. Double check everything. Also give yourself lots of time to do this mod. This was first time I'm doing this mod, and it took me good 2 days. I'm sure lot of people can do this mod faster, but I decide to take my time and do it right. Other than that Vector's how to is easy to follow.

My set up is little different than Vector's. I extended -6an fuel hose all the way to my AGP fuel pressure regulator from Earl fuel filter.

No i'm not using it. My stock fuel line is plugged with JB Waterweld, and hose is AQP socketless hoss (part number AER-FCN0620) from Summit.

I wouldn't use those worm clamps. I'd use fuel injection hose clamps.

All I can say is you'll need alot of patience.I didn't get it right the first shot so it took me two days also.I dropped the tank myself with no lift and a small amount of fuel left and re mounted it myself. What a bitch.Well worth it after all the trouble though.Socketless hose and fittings helped a bunch also the second time around.
