I just bought a used stock fuel pump assembly so I can do this bottleneck mod (didn't want to screw up my stock unit). I'll be taking a bunch of pics for a how-to writeup. I just want to get all the parts and steps down packed.

Vector, can you re-edit your first post and ATTACH the diagram instead of hosting the pic? I can't see the damn thing. If you don't have user rights to attach pictures than email it to me and I will. evo77@msn.com

Is this 90 here...

the same as these?

The reason I ask is because the bottom picture looks like it has a 90 with a push lock fitting where as the top one has the red sleeve. Unless I'm a dumbass and they are the same thing.

Also, does anyone know what the length of braided hose is to come from the fuel rail all the way to the filter like this?

Approx. 11 ft.

I bought 15' from Summit, then had enough left over to use as an oil feed line, and still have about 18" left over.

I bought 15' on purpose, BECAUSE I wanted extra to use as a oil feed line. In hindsight, you *MIGHT* be able to get away with 10'.

THEY ARE DIFFERENT! (I have TOO much to do with these fittings, Vector can testify to that)

The one on top is the "quick fit" or something like that. That one is used for SS brained line. The bottem one is INDEED a "push lok" type.

Personally, I feel a lot more comfortable using the one on top.

Yup, and use an aftermarket FPR AND fuel filter, as in stock form they are one in the same.

Ummm, not really. I don't know if you have any speeds shops in yoru area that can cut to exact lengths. Other then that, you'll just have to get the pre-cut from Summit or Jegs. In which case, I STRONGLY recommend you get more then you need. If for no other reason, incase you accidently mess up

Thanks. Yeah I've been searching around and I found the right 90 fitting I want. I'll be getting 3 of them, one coming off the fuel assembly lid, and two to go on the ends of the fuel filter. Ouch, this is the most expensive fitting of my list.

AER-FBM1532 $13.95 ea
