Thanks Vector... Please give me a call. I really want to meet up with you to get my car tuned a bit better then it is and learn a bit more about the dtec that I don't know. So if possible please give me a call on my cell if you don't have the number still I will send ya a PM with it. But I really like to get it tuned in to make sure I am perfectly safe. If you want anything for helping me just let me know and I will do whatever is needed. I just want to make sure I have it done right and rather have you do it since you know the dtec really well. So give me a call please....

Yup, this is the spoolboy mod minus the return line. Been floating around for many years, did it to my R/T bout 2 years ago.

If you plan to do this I would follow the link posted to Dennis's site as it is indepth and has pics

Search spoolboy mod at Neons.org for excellent info as well.

I posted the links in this thread for his site etc.. and neons org stuff where boost junkie showed it with the bulk head fittings which this is what I did and recommend this as it won't leak this way. Great mod hella props to him for figuring this out. I have no idea how he ever came up with this idea in the first place. Was a pain to do to the pump since I never did it before but now that I have it wasn't too bad just alot of measuring checking double checking etc.... But in the end very happy with the results and hopefully this will help my tuning abilities...

Vector I responded back to ya with my number talk to ya tomorrow

Be sure to dump the return line back into the canister. This is how the factory regulator works. Our fuel pumps actually suck fuel out the canister. It works like a surge tank. Other setups that dump fuel into the filler neck or elsewhere run the risk of running the canister dry...

Thats a walbro pump inside the canister with -6 hose coming off of it. AKA the "spoolboy" mod.

-4 is big enough. I was able to lower fuel pressure down to 15 psi. You'll never need it that low.

There is not one documented case of a problem occuring from the filler neck return. I understand your theory, but its just not a problem. I have done enough testing and have enough kits out there over the years to know. But hey, we all have our opinions.

So if I read correctly, tapping another hole for the return line is not necessary? Running a return line setup from aaronneon would suffice?
