No, if you read the first thread and look at the pic, you are replacing the fuel pickup line, so you have to either reattach it to the stock line (which is metal, so you have to do flare fittings or something like that) or run a new line all the way to the rail.

Nice touch with that 30degree angle piece to reduce the bending of the hose. I'm going to do that with mine, never would have thought of that and great pic answered some questions I had.

quick question what happens to the pump sitting in the blue rubber at the bottom of the canister does the pump just hang inside the canister or what pics would be nice thanks
what about to the stock feedline i keep that correct? how do i connect the ss line to it!
If you keep the stock line then there is no reason to take the fitting off the rail. You can try and see if Boomba will sell you the fitting they use in the their rails and use that to adapt to 6an by the fuel tank.
I am currently in the middle of building one of these bottleneck fixes to go along with the return line setup I have pieced together.
I have read through this thread but there is still one thing that I am concerned with. For those who have split the fuel supply hose between the pump and the push-lok fitting, what hose did you end up using to fix the problem?
I've been looking through all the different hoses available in 5/16 size and I have not found anything really great. Is anyone using the SAE 30R9 rated hose?
I am running the SS Braided Hose that i used for my return line. Its a -6 line so you will need to tighten the CRAP out of it on the pump itself. So far i havent had any issues from the line itself.
