I finally did the bottleneck fix today... didn't really notice a difference... my A/F's are not consistant from gear to gear... meaning, If I'm perfect 11.3 in WOT 3rd... I go 12.0-12.2 in 4th... and same in 5th... wtf?
Also... i didn't use the filter... why do we need it anyways? should I put it in?
I also didn't use the 3 feet of braided line, just the rubber fuel line that went into the pump, came out and I used it to link to the factory fuel line.
If i did this wrong, please let me know and I will redo it.
What PCM are you using(sometimes this makes a difference)
LOAD is different on the car in 3rd and 4th you can get different a/f ratios
(do you get different boost levels in 3rd vs 4th)
i tune cars on the street in 3rd then check them over in 4th
not useing a filter is a move of brilliance apon yourself.
yes there was it was your STOCK FPR/FILTERthat you pluged for hte fuel line return
how much HP are you trying to go for will let you know if you need to run a line all the way to the rail
if your dynoing over 530-550 uncorrected you may want to up the line all the way to the rail if not its not needed
no, I'm shooting for 420.... so I'm okay I guess.... so you say to put the filter in then.... okay, I will.
Now, how about the fact that I didn't end up using the braided line or the 90 degree coming out of the canister.... is that okay too, the fact that I did it my way? It just seemed easier... and I didn't really see the need for the braide line when I had so much rubber line left...

So me and a buddy of mine did the bottleneck fix. Everything is ok. But the bottleneck fix does not fix the stumbles. We tried putting the FP at 45psi but we are getting too much fuel and that didn't fix it. So my buddy started having a problem with his car that made him disconnect his DIS which I have too and he does not feel any of the stumbles. So I disconnect mine for the hell of it and guess what....... No stumbles. What is going on in our case? I hope I didn't redirect this thread and if I did I apologize but it has to do with the stumbles.

what do you have hooked up ot the car?
DIS what?
this helps with the stumbles BUT Stumbles come from the cars tune being off
the biggest reason for this is running out of fuel in hte upper RPMS
