hence the average person quote that people seemed to get upset about. I didnt mean any disrespect by it. I would have checked the seating of it...it wouldnt have been the first thing I did, but I would have checked it. Like I said, I have had seating issues in the past..so its not so uncommon to me. In your case, it is very odd that it happend down the road. So yes I can understand the brain racking you must have done to figure it out

About two damn weeks .... It sucked , and so did my gas mileage. But that's not due to fuel leaking , cause there was ZERO leaks.

maybe the fuel isn't leaking but evaporating through the seal? maybe that's why my AFR are all over the place as well...

I smash a nickle into the hole and then fill with gas resistant epoxy. I saw that trick on the neons org way back when.

Plugging the hole in the regulator that is .... That is not where my car was leaking at all , and will not help with the same problems my thread starter mentioned.

I was refering to the question above about how to ditch the reg. And yes it would help you. If you ditch the stock reg and run an aftermarket fuel filter, there would be no o-rings left to unseat

you should make a kit fs: that way more and mroe people will do what they are to affraid to do on there own. mb a kit that has all the fittings filter and line + a mini walk through, once i read the slow boy racing howto i totally decided to do this, i should have done it from the start stock line is weak.
