Default Bought used walbro255 and I'm curious...

So, I've never actually held a fuel pump before. Never saw one in person. Only seen pictures online. Well, I just received a used (though it was called NIB) fuel pump from someone on the forums and the webbing on the bottom of the pump feels...almost brittle. Kind of dried out. Should it be this way? I have a few friends that own shops, so I was going to bring it by and see what they think, but since I don't know anything about fuel pumps it kinda scares me that maybe I got a pos and I don't know it.

Normal. Got pics? I can confirm visually that everything looks in order for you if you post some pics.

Yeah, I talked with a friend about this after I posted and he said it's probably normal too. I'll take some pics after work today and post them.
