the inline 044 looks like a good solution for me running E85. now i need to invest in a aftermarket rail more line and a pump obviously.

nachO.. how much did it cost to get that custom fuel sock/fitting for the 044?
did you just hard solder the connections to the pump or did you use the connector that came with the stock setup?

pump is $183 on ebay and the sock is $50 from this one place (i have to find the link again).

for those of you trying to make your own twin pump set up here is one way to do it. its a ok starting point but i would run a boost relay so the pump isnt always on.

thanks reed and uncommon. i am in the process right now of dropping the fuel tank (leaking bulkhead fitting) so i bought some new fittings for -6AN setup from the pump through the canister when i upgrade. just pricing the next list of things to do to the car.

off topic though..
uncommon i know you used stat o seals on your return setup. do you know about these plastic washers that are used to seal up fittings like a bulkhead fitting? i know ordering those would have my car down for a few days and 1 place here had these seals that are alcohol and fuel safe.

the pump inlet is M12 x 1.5. you can go get a metric to -AN fitting adapter or metric M12 x 1.5 to a standard NPT thread. -6AN is about 3/8 and 8-an is about 1/2 in. so look for a M12x 1.5 to a 1/2 threaded fitting. then screw a 1/2 in barbed fitting

im going to use a m12x1.5 to -6an, then a -6an pushlock...that will work right?

yes i don't see why not. i would use some good hose too. i like using the aeromotive push loc hose. 300psi burst strength and safe for fuel and alcohol's.
when i do a 044 im going to do pretty much what you are going to do.

You fellas going to a -6 feed need to look close at your horsepower goals. With E85 or any alky based fuel you need to think more about volume @ pressure.

-6 did not meet my Volume needs for a feed line.

I'm -8 Feed -8 to Magnafuel regulator and -6 back to the Qeasy.

Never seen them. Post up a link. I changed up my setup last winter, drove the car probably 5 times this year and I'll more than likely be changing it again this winter LOL.

I think I'm gonna ditch my -6AN feed for a -8AN. I would think my -6AN aero regulator would work fine since it's post rail.

yea here is the link. they are teflon washers
Russell Performance - Service Parts

well when i upgrade the pump i will upgrade the fuel feed system. stock 5/16 line is too damn small. my -6AN return will be just fine. now i know -8 will be pretty sufficient for my future E85 setup.

Your correct the Reg is A-ok to be -6. The feed really needs to be -8 or larger on alky based fuels.

Luke: your fine on pump with -6 -4
