I'll have it out in aother month or so. I'll check status of the Gates line then.

I need to pull my sending unit. It's dead. Another thread around here said to use an older sending unit. I'll be scouting the yards for one.

natural rubber deals with E-85 just fine... look up specs on hose, then choose. what do you think is inside stainless fuel line?

methanol, yes. Ethanol, no.

SAE 30R7 (altho not my choice, not recomended for fuel injection, but still has a burst pressure above 150psi)

SAE 30R7 is ethanol compatible.

I'll agree with you there. I was thinking only of the exterior of the line being submerged in fuel. Is the external cover also rated for ethanol? If that's working for you, then its all good. I already have the braided stainless with teflon inner from an alky funny car, so I'm just gonna use that instead. If the cheap stuff is working, then there's no need to upgrade.

Great info. What would one of these be good to on E85? I have the same injectors and love them as well. I'm just trying to get my fuel system unpgraded to run E85.

oh, i love the teflon hose. but i couldnt swing it. i got the jegs nitrile hose (same thing injector orings are made of) and is also impervious to Ethanol.

i went to napa and got the hose that i used in tank, they had the manufacture spec sheets, i dont remember what it was exactly tho. it was rated to be submerged in Ethanol tho.

wouldnt it be better to have the 255 pump feed a surge tank then from the surge tank an 044 inline to the rail?

With the ID 1000's and the 044 you can run base rail pressures of 70 PSI with a 1:1 rising rate and you will be goo to the ID 1000 max flow of 1525CC/Min

Best calculation around 550 HP on E85.
