Boomba rail modification

Sorry if this has been covered...has anyone with a boomba rail had to modify/grind off one of the edges because it hits the coolant pipe???

Im looking at mine and size it up and its close, just seeing if others have had this issue?

i have yet to see a set of rc's on a boomba rail that does not hit......

its not the rc's that have a problem sealing on the rail....its the spacers you use to space the rail back.....there too long.....i have seen rc's that dont seal right on fatory rails because the spacers are too long

I am also having a problem with the RC 750's sealing on the Boomba rail. I used 7/16ths nuts as spacers. Could they possibly be too high? They seemed to work with the stock rail.

what i like to do is put the injectors all the way in the rail.....then put the whole rail down in the intake mani and the measure the distance they are and either cut new spacer or just uses a few washers.......most boomba rails only need 2-3 washers stacked up.......so thats prob some where around 3/16.....the boomba rail will require less spacer height

Looks like you're right. I just put my stock rail back on, and the boomba rail actually had to be tilted back a bit to fit those nuts in there. Also, I noticed that the O-Ring on the schrader valve side was split in half.
