100 octane on 04?
is it safe to run 100 octane on my 04?
boost = 13psi stock turbo
pcm = stock
injectors = stock (577cc's)
all other fuel delivery components are stock. i just wanted to know if it is safe to put 100 octane in my car when i go to the track in a few months.

Safe? Yes
Will it do anything in a stock car? No
100 will allow you to run more timing and boost w/o knocking as long as your AFRs are safe.

stock sounds so....harsh. lol. my mods are in my sig.
so in other words ur sayin id have to get return line, bigger injectors, and a good tune to make 100oct worth my while?
appreciate the feedback.

not really, just more power adders. Such as big turbo, ported stocker with supporting mods, etc.
100+ octane helps with tuning (correct me if I am wrong anybody)
Having a stock turbo with stock everything will basically just be a waste of your extra buck, thats how minimal the gains/benefits are lol.

you could lean your car out and jack the timing with a mapclamp/piggyback

i must be running ok though right? 13psi isnt too much. ive been running that much boost for probably 8 months with no problems at all.

13lbs is fine...
should get your factory boost leaks fixed though!! bet you it will make you feel x1000 times faster than what you feel now haha..but seriously.
Also, I was risking about going lean, but I boosted 17lbs all night and day w/o a wideband. I have one now and it runs fine.

well if you dont think there are leaks, does your boost gauge sit a 0 when off?
things that me as well as others did
zip tie all vaccum lines hoses,etc.
Everyone but ME and a handfull use t-bolt clamps.
regular hose clamps just does it fine for me

with the Kinetic WG you should be boosting around 16-17psi dropping to 13-14psi @ redline. that should be the first order of business!
