Seibon Srt-4 Gt Hood And Trunks Available through CTA Motorsports
We are an Authorized SEIBON dealer and can get any of the SEIBON products.
These parts are the best I've seen as of late, far superior to anyother brand that we have carried.
We are probably the first retailer to get the trunks, very limited quantity, one's going on my car. Same goes for the GT hoods, these are limited in quantity, but more are available than the trunks at the moment.
GT Hood Pics
Nice carbon weave.
Hood Vents.
Inlet Duct, much bigger than OEM hood.
Even the underside is finished nicely. Look, no bondo or glue seaping from the seams like some other brands.
OEM Trunk Pics
Again, nice carbon weave. Best of all, no key hole, and the third brake light hole will fit properly.
Best part of the trunk, metal hinges, not flimsy fiberglass like some other brands. Underside of trunk is ready for an OEM CF wing install, if you so choose.
Inside frame is ready for trunk trim and wiring.
Look, a rolled and finished edge, not a cut and hack job like some other brands.
good luck with this carbon fiber company i hope they work out better for you then carbon by design did, i think it was you who had alot of problems with them.. they are a joke! Good to see the trunk deck doesn't look like my little sister cut it out with a steak knife! Good Luck!

Well, it was me and a lot of others that had problems with them too. The SEIBON CF hoods and now trunks, seem to be a far better product, much better quality control, and you hit the nail on the head, way better finished edges on the trunk.
Thanks.

If you were closer to the border, you could drive and pick it up, better yet, I could help you install it too.
I posted pics in our local Canadian Forums, but I am posting in our own Vendor forums too.
First of, let me say that this was a lot easier install than my previous Brand X trunk lid. I actually had to raise my trunk latch back to the stock location because, using the previous setting, it wouldn't catch the lock. Just goes to show you, a good product does replace OEM correctly, without any modification nor does it need a "professional" installer like it was always suggested by Brand X's tech support.
One thing, if any aftermarket CF manufacturer claims that fiberglass hinge pockets are better than metal ones, they are full of shite. _!_
Now for the pics. Back End Shot
Check out the even gaps (Left Side)
(Right Side)
Look how well the trunk lid flows into the rear quarters, nice and level. (Check out the panel gaps, pretty darn good compared to Brand X)
Oh, look how nicely flush the vertical side of the trunk lid is to the taillight and rear quarter. (Brand X was forward of the quarter panel by at least 1/4 inch)
And finally, the third brake light fits snugly in the opening. (Unlike Brand X which looked like a child cut the hole, gaps all around leaked water into the trunk)
For Kicks and Giggles, here are pics of my previous CF trunk lid. (Also posted in our local Canadian forum)
Brand X CF trunk previous pics.
Look how high the trunk lid sits, unless you machine out the trunk latch holes. (I remember being told that no modification would be necessary. I had to drill out the holes in my trunk latch by some 3/4", lowering the trunk latch to get my previous CF trunk to fit.
Right Side
Left Side (This picture also shows how far forward the vertical side of the trunk sat in relation to the taillight and quarter panel)
Nice fitment, huh? (Oh but this is the installers fault, isn't it always, says Brand X's tech support)
Look at the nice fender gap. (This trunk along with all the ones we sold had finger gaps on the left side, almost touching on the right side) (Brand "X" tech support told me it's all in the adjustment and that would fix the problem, not so. Measuring from the outside edge of the hinge pockets to the side edges of the trunk lid, one side was over 1/4" shorter than the other. Can you guess which side was shorter. )
I am so happy to get remove this POS off my car. It's been a long time coming to by an "A" grade product to replace that previous "F" grade product.
Next...............Brand "X" CF hood. It's going bye, bye very soon.
does the trunk come with the indent for the key hole or is there no key latch?
Seibon does not include the indent. How often does one use the key in the trunk of a SRT-4?
I didn't want one any way, because the only time I used the key was to open the trunk a million times when trying to install Brand "X" trunk lid. I didn't want to burn out the trunk latch actuator. I like the clean look of having no key hole.
It was from C-Wings aka Import Fan. I don't think they exist any more. It was around $200.00USD when I bought it a couple of years ago, a lot cheaper than any current offering on these forums.
