I am about to install an Oil Pressure Gauge and can't seem to find this "legendary" upper engine (head) port for the sending unit. If anyone has a picture or can just give me a where-abouts of it, that'd be great.
Check the stickies in the How-To forum before starting a new thread. There's also a H-T on your project there.

Look right beside that 15MM ground bolt on the head on the drivers side. You should see a little bolt/plug with an almost 1/4 inch drive square hole in it. If you unscrew that you can screw the sending unit into it.
I'm trying to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Can I use that port with a mechanical gauge?
Thanks for any help in advance.
