I'm looking into doing the 2.0L cams, but I don't know where to get them from. Don't tell me a from a 2L DOHC neon either. I've read that people are getting them for $50, but from where? Also, what are the best cam gears, I've heard AEM's are good but I can't find any in the FS section. Are the findanza gears easy to adjust when your on the dyno? thanks for the help.

you get them from a 2.0 neon. where the hell do you think people get them from?
and AEM's are like 405 new.
fidanzas suck. but can be had for like 150-170. tunings a bitch w/ them.
Thanks. Just checking. People saying they cost $50 is what threw me off. My friend has a blown 2.0L with a good head and I was going to try and get them from him. Didn't know if anyone sold them new or used. Where can you get the AEM's as their site doesn't list anything. Which vendors on here carry AEM?
not yet, but that would be cheep. I asked TKmotorsports if he carries the AEM's and how much. Still waiting to hear. I guess I could spend less on the Fidanzas and pay more when I'm dynoing or pay more for AEM's and less for the dyno. How much would it cost for an hour on a dyno to tune the cams?

"Suck" is such a hash term. I dislike tuning them, but the new models work fairly well and aren't prone to the old-versions' breaking routine. I wish I went the AEM route, but they work fine for tuning. I agree, though, they are a bitch to tune with their excessive amount of hex bolts.
Well in all fairness, when I did mine on the dyno, I would only keep 3 of the hex bolts in until I got a cam 100% dialed in; then I'd threadlock all of them and torqued them to spec.
