if tunned correctly you shouldnt have either of the problems .. 20whp+ is very doable with a good tune again.. youll need to get cam gears to see all the power that you can though, cams will yield some power, but cams are needed if you want to extract all the juice out of them.

Not really on stock pcm, i always got a missfire code. The ecu kept thinking it was missfiring because it was loping so much. But when i got the stg 1 all the codes went away, so to answer your question NO it does react well on stock ECU but the car ran fine.

Im getting a misfire code with crane 16's as well. A p0300 random misfire.

I just fired up my custom Crowers. They sound alot like that with not timing adjustments and through a Maxxfab JDM no cat!
