I see thx. Do you think the stage 1 would give a more milder version of the rumble you got at idle? Cause thats what Im shooting for, between yours and stock. Also, no valvetrain kit needed for stg1 which is a plus.

Well since i was willing to make the drive out from So-cal to FBM in las vegas, they gave a sweet deal on everything. The Crower stg2 cams and valvetrain, FBM ported head and fidanza gears and im not messing with you it was $700 installed. Call them up i dont know how far you live from them, but if you are willing to drive out to their shop they give sweet ass deals. I actually went to their shop twice the first was for their ported turbo and manifold package which was the ported stock turbo, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, throttle body and spacer all for $600.

You can use the stock retainers just fine.
But you definately needed to change springs.

depends on the specs of the cam.. dont want them to be off or floating a valve will cause problems... id get retainers esp with a radical cam and tighter springs which are made for higher rpms

Does the SRT-4 react well to aftermarket cams (as far as check engine lights and not running lean)? Do you get any notable gains with the cams and stock heads?

I put a Crower custom grind in my Dakota and it didn't wake up until I installed larger heads.
