In my opinion there isn't much of an advantage of one over the other. The main difference is looks. Boomba only comes in the stock/red anodizing. Unorthodox comes in the black/silver anodizing. Both are strong. Both fit under the stock cover. Just really comes down to what you want
Thats more or less what I was thinking...same adjustability same bolt pattern, both seem less prone to cracking or other issues than the older Fidanza style. Looks wise I'm not concerned about, just funcationality.

I have Boomba's on my car. A buddy of mine has unorthodox. No complaints from either of us
I have unorthodox, works fine. Only complaint.... only 10 degrees of adjustment. The car had cracked fidanzas, why I replaced them, the fidanzas where dyno tuned to 12*exhaust and 9*intake. I cant duplicate it that with the UR gears

My car had old style fidanza cam gears when i bought it and they were just showing signs of cracking then. A month later full blown cracks all the way around the gear.
