Ok well my timing is off from my water pump installation and its not awful but it still doesnt run worth a shit. So my question is: Is there an easy way to line the cam gears and the crank up without taking all the MMs off. i just dont feel like taking all that shit back off to get to the tensioner.
your going to at least have to take the center and top mount off. so also to jack up the motor up high enough to get the motor mount bracket you have to take the lower mount off. you have to take them all off anyways. did you check the how-to forums? i posted a oil pump install. there might be a few tricks that can help you. good luck man

A New 06-07 Mustang is built in the US with 64% US content and does not legally qualify to use the term "Made in the USA". How's that for an import? Stock turbo/ 3'cai, 3"O2 housing, 3"DP, AGP WGA, mild port head w/3angle valve job w/crane springs retainers,2.0 cams w/fidanza gears, ED hard pipes, hks bov, fullybuilt ported 55mm tb. thats just the begining
It all has to come back off, there is no other way as the motor mount plate is in the way. I learned a trick this weekend, crank the engine after getting the timing belt installed and adjusted. Sure fire way of knowing if it's in time or not.

to make sure it is timed right. get the cam gears set up right. intake 1/2 notch above exhaust gear. then once the tensioner is tightened to make sure the timeing is right. turn the crank clockwise two full rotations and make sure the crank gear lines up with the oil pump notch and make sure the timing gears are in thier right place as well. intake 1/2 notch above the exhaust.
thanx for the help i jsut didnt really wanna redo all that again and it was 180 dollars to let someone else do it but i need the money so i guess back to the driveway i go.
