picture of it walking.. any information would help greatly
You must not have installed the crankshaft sprocket onto the crank far enough. That, or you installed it backwards (belt guide toward block rather than away from block).
Here, straight from the FSM:
CAUTION: The crankshaft sprocket is set to a predetermined
depth from the factory for correct timing
belt tracking. If removed, use of Special Tool
6792 is required to set the sprocket to original
installation depth. An incorrectly installed sprocket
will result in timing belt and engine damage.
Either the crankshaft sprocket like Chuck said, or once I had that happen when my harmonic balancer wasnt all the way seated. It felt tight but I guess it was a little crooked. You can see from under the car, there should not be much gap there at all. I used a breaker bar and torqued the $hit out of it and a was well. (it sure beats taking all that crap apart again).

i didnt think of the second part of that , wasnt aware that it was possible to do .
k.. well i foudn the reason and it was probably THE dumbest reason ever.. the belt was facing the wrong direction.. its a black gates timing belt, they have to go on a certain direction or it will walk like this..
the crank sprocket was installed by the people at the motor shop, and boy have they done some messed up stuff that a simple full time mechanic had to fix thanks you guys, i appreciate all the help!
