Default quick comp bc 2,3 crane 14

Street/Strip Specification BC 2
Street/Strip Specification Plug and play application. Short duration for nice street manners, slight lope at idle. Excellent all purpose spec. OEM spring OK.

this is what i could find on crower 2's

tell me if i am wrong but it looks like the 14 would sit in between the BC 2 and 3

tell me if i am wrong but it looks like the 14 would sit in between the BC 2 and 3


the crane duration rating is actually at 1mm, and not .05.
which causes for a misleading comparison because then the results are skewed since bc's are rated at .050



between those cams, they all have 3 different "ideal situations"

bc2 - good street cam for all around power

14 - spool the turbo up quicker. proven ~300rpm spool gain. wont make power that you need it to as you get near/past 6k

bc3 - top end, while still retaining some streetability.

crower s2- too large of duration/lift combination to actually take advantage of for your powerband/rev limit.

id personally just rock 16s and be done w/ it.

Which one is a better cam crane 18 or brian crower stage 3??? just got rid of my crane 16s as i wanted something bigger for top end since i will be reving past 7200rpm..??

what works the best with the mopar stage 3 (w/ toys) BC2's or crane 16's or what do you guys think every day driver but race on the weekends ....
what do you think???????
