If you use a stone and polish the lobe, the rollar rocker might function fine. The round bearing diameter on the cam is a different story...it could be very abrasive in a plain bearing.
Take that cam to a local speed shop for a proper opinion.
i bought them used which were FINE, but my dumbass left these in the trunk without thinking. im going to ask my neighbor, who builds engines, if he knows someone.
So I went into a performance, an old well talked about one in my area. He said it had some pitting on the lobes, but not at the high point of it. So he told me that he could try and polish or clean it off, not totally but so it can be salvaged and be used. He explained that I would be able to still see some of it but not in a bad condition, just so a tiny bit of it would still remain. It would only cost me 20 bucks, so what the heck right?
