Default Leaking valve seals ... I have questions

I am NO mechanic, thus my questions.

Is there ANY way to help leaking valve seals except to replace them ?

Must the head be removed from the car to replace valve seals ?

Does the head have to go to a machine shop for this ?

Is there a particular valve seal that is better to use for replacement ?

Thanks

Technically there are oil additives that say they help this, but it's a bandaid, and not recommended at all (at least by me).

There are specialty tools that allow you to replace them in car.

Not necessarily, but based on what you know about it (please don't take offense) I would recommend having a pro do it for you.

I always replace any seals with Viton (material not a brand) seals as they can handle high temps extremely well.

Thanks

My thoughts in red for ya
