Default JE 8.5:1 Pistons and Crower cams.... am i in trouble

i have the JE off the shelf 8.5:1 dish pistons and Crower stage 3 cams

cam specs

intake: Duration 272 lift: .438 druation at.050 lobe lift: .250
exhaust: duration 272 lift: .420 duration at .050 lobe lift: .240

other thing is im running bc +1mm intake and exhaust valves.

Yup...they will hit slightly on the intake valve reliefs. You can send them in to us for correction. I was just about ready to respond to your email to us.

the 8.5:1 JE piston top design is better than that of the 8.0's IMO

dont cheap out on something as important as pistons...

im not trying to cheap out, lol i was just curious, because i had a couple guys on here tell me that no piston will clear with the cams im running. yet darrell cox told me that the 8.0's will clear, but my 8.5's wont. so im just trying to get all the info i can on the matter

The 8.0s will clear fine but are not as effective in horsepower production. The 8.0s are also much heavier than all others as well.

So the stupid ski jump design is strictly for emissions. They sit low in the cyl and lack any sort of quench also
