Default Is this a good port job?

Just saw this head for sale, and I'm interested in picking it up, wondering if the port job is worth a shit.

I'm not an expert on heads but I have not seen any other heads (SRT4) with that shape on the ceiling of the exhausts ports. I'm not sure if that can have a negative effect on flow, specially if your exhaust manifold does not have the same shape and the air is hitting a flat surface on the way out.

tk/cncport, dcr somewhat, and F&F from what i seen use what ive seen DCR refer to it as the "B" shape.

its obviously working if many are using it. the key is velocity and the ability to move the air the quickest out. huge ports wont cut it.

on a side note, that head is a VERY good deal.

I do use a similar shape on two of my head designs. I can tell that this one may not be the best as I think it's been taken too high (I think that the exhaust stream would end up hitting the gasket) but the shape seems good. Also looks like a gasket match on the intake side which will look great on a flow bench but in all reality not make any difference unless you have a sheetmetal intake manifold to match.

$.02

A recent one of mine:
