you may be better off with some stg2's if you have some good head work done or stg1's woth stock heads

stg3 crowers (not BC) is a cam for all out drag racing and would loose power up untill about 4k rpm's

Kevin Warren said he ran his car to 10k, on BC stage 3's, I don't see why anyone would want a set of Crower stage 3's other than for the sound of them, or a very well thought out, full blown race car...

Stick with Crower Stg. 2, or Brian Crower stage 3's, IMO

I know I have the Crower Stg 2's in my stroker, even with the cams set using that Cam Fixture from DCR, it's still pretty radical... I can't imagine the stage 3's, I had a set I was going to use, but there were a little to close for comfort in the clearance area

Not to say your decision is bad but why don't you have AMM here in phoenix do your port work? He has some pretty good prices and does excellent work.

Here is a quote I got from the local forums...If your serious I can get you in touch with him. I have been trying for awhile but I will try harder if you want...

"well street porting is 600.00 which is some casting clean up, seat blending roof rasing on the outlets of the ports, street strip is 800.00 which is full poritng of both sides......... and race porting (1000.00) will be more porting and inculde combo chamber work. all include race valve job, resurface and assembly and i would need a good core from the buyer to port also."

crower 2's are a little smaller than BC 3's i believe.
