i was told that 16s are good for a stage 2 car, and 18s are good for a car with all the top end you want. Well im not sure where fall in here, my car is running at 350whp currently at 20psi, stock internals so far, but trying to upgrade pistons, rods, piston rings, port intake and cylinder head, cam gears, etc. So i want to be up around 450whp at 23psi. Which camshafts would be best?
AGP 50 trim, and the cylinder head isnt ported yet, but thats what i was going to rebuild the engine and do all the replacements at once, the pistons, rings, camshafts, cam gears, rods, ported intake manifold i think ill do after, but yeah u get the idea.
The purpose of ignition advance is to account for the lag time following spark ignition for combustion pressure to peak at 15 degrees AFTER TOP DEAD CENTER. A little fyi !
You guys need to run 18's.. we made a 20hp gain from 16 to 18's on a stock turbo..
How were the spool charteristics effected? I know thats more than likely a dumb question since the stock turbo spools stupid fast but im sure it has to of been effected some.
