that is the reason i was making cracks. 30hp on a 700+ car is nothing, esp when it is fwd. Unless it's a FULL drag car (which it's not still has interior) there is no point. Each to his own though.

my point was the same as yours, he could have made the car idle better, even with the lower cr. Maybe i will start playing in you guys field, I was thinking about a going back to turbo. I just want close to no lag would like to be in boost at 3500rpms, maybe not full boost but some. I was running the gt35r on my 2.0 motor and i wasn't in boost till 4k, which when you have a 8:1 cr motor it sucks to drive the sob on the street you get no where fast, unless it's balls to the wall.

this is a far cry from when you said the car was was not tuned, and were taking shots saying the EMS has prolly never been connected to a laptop.. I guess AMS doesn't know how to tune the AEM ems and the a853 right?

YOu got me confused with someone else.. I never said it was'nt tuned, I might have said that they may have spent more time tunning on the dyno and street than the idle, Maybe. I don't remember 100% what I said, But I know that it was not that they never tuned it or that they don't know how too. I have tuned 100's of cars with every brand of EMS out there. I, more than most, would know that if they can make a car live with 30 psi (not to mention 37-38) that they have had to have tuned it, alot..

It's just that the idle is one of the trickest things to tune.. small change have big effects. There are about 12 things all trying to affect the idle at once. And a few of those change when your tunning for power then you have to go back and rebalance the idle..

I have NEVER hated on chris's car and I won't. I have never hated on AMS either. In this world there are many different Idea's of what is acceptable.
In my opinion I would not own a street car that idle'd like that. Unless you know some cocky people, it's hard to get a race, with a car that sounds like that. It'll scare most people off.
By the way Chris if you can get it, I would love to have the actuall dyno jet file from say a 30-32 psi pass.. I don't need the 792 one unless you wanna send it.. It will help me figure out gearing on these trannies that I'm building..

my god,

Seriously, please tell me that this is all a big joke. We all are on this forum to give props, help, and be more of a community forum then a "My LS1 can beat the shit outta your ricer Civic" type of Forum. 4U2NV that car of yours in INSANE. N/A Neon Guy, Because your so pissed off about helping him with his project with your insights that he isn't interested in. Just LET IT GO.

Man how the hell can we sit here and ramble on like this.

Not to be the Preacher here/Peace making Canadian, but I think there are Endless numbers of cars on this forum that are V-8/V10 Killers.

Way I see it ...... Give props, Question Projects for you to learn from, and keep posting kill stories cause they are just great.

This is just a quick Ramble on my part. Maybe I'm the only guy who thinks this way

Ohhh and I hope to will win longest drive to the SRT-Nationals this year ...

About 3100Miles Race and Drive home.

How many cars can you do that with

Here you go man, I just took the video tonite. It's the first time I started the car up after the build. The idle is at like 1100-1200, I didn't touch anything yet.

Crower stage 3 cams.

Would Crower S3 cams be a over kill for stock turbo/SST turbo? Also, what's all involed...meaning, I would just have to replace the retainers and springs?
