and just because you have made power, doesn't mean you know what your talking about. your spec lists SOMEONE ELSE build't the Block, did the porting, and all that. So what do you actually do? yet you call me an idiot...
you guys jump on his side go ahead. regardless of what you say, your idle is crap and 13.5 air fuel at idle is way to rich for idle. Your motor will be lucky to last 5k miles. Since your going to be mixing your gas and your oil, your cylinder walls are going to turn to crap. That is if you don't break something else first. Idle air fuel should be 14:1 to 15:1.
i know nothing of your car, which in this case is better, because your are being arogant because you think your car is in perfect tune, and it's not. It's VERY noticeable.
either way, if your are running 1600 cc injectors i would switch to an 8 injector setup so you can at least get the car to idle correctly. 4 for off boost, and 4 for fuel enrichment on boost. Oh but you wouldn't know anything about that.
BTW, i have one of the HIGHEST power N/A neons, my n/a neon is faster than half of the srt-4's i see at the track, running much lower than 14 sec, i am in the 12's

my neon actually has the EXACT same motor as your 2.4. minus the oil squirters.

your sig says you make 205hp,since your such a know it all you would know that the srt-4 dosen't make 205hp at 14psi If you know so much then how come you only make 205hp? And your trying to give advice to someone who makes almost 500 more hp than you

I can make much more than 205whp, however i rather stay n/a for class rules. I can always throw on the nitrous and make 400whp. If i get another neon then i will turbo that one, but i like the response of n/a alot better.
heck i can throw in some race gas, and slap on a gt35r and make 500whp-600whp, if i wanted to buy the turbo parts. I have had a turboed 2.0 which made 512whp, on 26psi with c16

You are playing in the wrong field here..
8.8 to compression and big cams is allllooot different than 11:1 with big cams.
I have a much, much lower compression ratio than that (less than 7.5) in our cars (with 1600cc) and crane 18's which I think are bigger than the crower stg3. Our car Idles smoothly at 1100 rpm and it has an idle mixture of about 12.8 when warm and 10.8 when cold. No oil issues or cylinder wall wash down. When you have cams this big alot of fuel goes out the exhaust and never gets burned, because of the low compression (causes lack of velocity in the port at slow speeds) the fuel falls out of suspension. I think chris's car sounds like crapp in that video too, but if that's the overlap that he needed to make the power he did then thats the sacrifice he his willing to make to have the highest hp street srt4 (for now anyway.. ). Personally, I would rather give up 30hp than have to deal with that idle and it would probably spool quicker and have more midrange power at the same time.
i know the low compression hurts idle. I run Crane #18's as well, they have more duration, but less lift. My idle is at about 850rpms with a a/f at 13.5:1.

that is the reason i was making cracks. 30hp on a 700+ car is nothing, esp when it is fwd. Unless it's a FULL drag car (which it's not still has interior) there is no point. Each to his own though.
my point was the same as yours, he could have made the car idle better, even with the lower cr. Maybe i will start playing in you guys field, I was thinking about a going back to turbo. I just want close to no lag would like to be in boost at 3500rpms, maybe not full boost but some. I was running the gt35r on my 2.0 motor and i wasn't in boost till 4k, which when you have a 8:1 cr motor it sucks to drive the sob on the street you get no where fast, unless it's balls to the wall.
