Do you mean adjusting them?

That is best done on a dyno by your tuner. Just 0 them out and they'll be fine.

The way I been doing it...
Start with the exhaust cam and 2 degrees at a time doing street runs. It's a pain in the ass. Once you get the exhaust cam adjusted start over on the intake cam. Pretty much just ass dyno it.

lol, start with straight up make 100% sure the #1 is at TDC check the marks and use a tdc tool (antenna) then if your rich get your DCR cam fixture, then use the gears to get it 100% perfect straight up (thats why there adjustable) tighten the gears (little allen or bolts) and mark em poke a mark with an awl where -0- is

if after that you need to adjust em go ahead but you need to install em proper first or youll get lost

It's worth the money when you tune the gears on a dyno.
We found an increased overlap setting that cost a few peak HP, but had very little power drop-off at 6.5K.

Also, If you are going to dyno in the gears, you don't need to know where true TDC is. The HP numbers and shape of the curve will show what settings work the best.
