just wait, or go ahead and spend the extra couple hundred bucks on the gears.

You should see some gains exact hp not sure 10 hp+. I have cam gears 0 out but with that DSP cant you advance a little going off the cam senser? Im a noob when it comes to the DSP and I do want one. If you need cam gears with the DSP go to the dyno to set the cams because you will have to work with A/F when adjusting cams plus watch knock. Let us know!!

If you are going to have it apart, do the cam gears at the same time. Pointless to go in there twice. I didn't do gears initially but wish I had now as I'll be doing it this round. You can feel a difference with them zero'd out but you aren't getting the full benefit.

well if you have the cams and the springs wait for the gears. you can adjust your power band with advancing or retarting the timing. some cars work better at 0.0 others work at -4.+3 it determines what gives you the best power and the best all around power band. it would be easier to adjust with the cam gears.

on a second note the DSP you can change your Ignition timing advance or retard ignition timing. the timing on the cams and ignition timing is different. if you have both you can make good gains. for my self my ignition timing on 91 is different form the ignition timing from my 50% E85 50% 91. you can keep adding timing as long as your knock is kepts in check and your not running too lean.
