BC Retainer Question

I have a Valvespring/retainer kit here from Brian Crower that are suppose to be single groove. My question is this: I am going to use to STOCK valves, If I use the stock keepers, can the BC single groove retainers be used or should I just use the stock retainers? I know that BC lists the springs as the same part number for triple and single groove kits. I am only asking if I can use the single retainers that came with the springs with the stock valves and keepers.

I guess the real question is what's the difference from single and triple groove retainers are they machined different are the heights different to the point that you can only use single groove valves or can I use these with the stock triple groove valves?

The 2 Retainers they offer are meant for 2 different keepers/locks. Different dimensions and angles I believe.

I've never tried using a stock Retainer and BC spring, we convert everything over to single groove. I would think the installed height will be effected.

Why not just buy the Triple Groove Retainers from BC? And be done with it.

I would like to but everywhere I find them you have to buy the springs and retainers they wont seperate. Do you have them so I can but just the retainers or know where I can get some for a decent price?

From the information I get from the website since they are using the same spring it changes everthing, from seat pressure to open pressure and even coil bind, I didn't think it would be smart to use single retainers and locks on triple valves, let alone if it would work, I will probably just buy the triple retainers and be done with it,
