could be something fuel related seeing as cylinder 4 is the farthest away?
i dunno good luck with it man i had to chase down a misfire as well a few months ago mine was the FPR..
I was also thinking that but didnt know if it would be the fuel pump or something else, cuz it wasnt an injector.
FPR?? Is that fuel pressure regulator? that might make sense because every now and then it will start to have a spasm of missfires in all the cylinders. Majority still in cyl#4. And that being the farthest away would make it harder for it to recive fuel. If this wrong or not then someone please tell me.
just curious does it throw a code or are you just reading it on the scan gauge. i have a similar issue. but i only noticed when i put solid mounts. so i dont know if its just idles a little rough normally or if im getting a misfire?

Little bit of both. it just recently started throwing a code. But before then it would appear on the scan gauge every now and then. Still havent fixed the problem yet. I took the valve cover off and nothing seemed to be out of place. I am wondering if it is the fuel pump. it builds fuel preasure just fine when it is charging right before i start it. my guess is it is having problems keeping constant pressure.
just plugs and wires and i switched ecus, i did the fuel pump rewire. i wonder if its the fpr.
I didnt know there was a fuel pump rewire. Was that on a thread on here? As far as the FPR, i have heard about them going out to but is it cheaper to just get a wabro 255 pump? i thought the new fpr is included in the kit? I also might getting false info so dont take my word for it.
yeah its the ptp rewire and i never heard of a pump coming with regulator. also my friend said his idled that way until he went aem, because it delete the barometric solenoid. when its opening and closing it make it idle like a miss??

well i learned from a friend that the car should idle like a small miss because at idle the car is running rich. What happens is we get a similar phenomena as a high rised camed V8 vehical. Difference is that it should be minor and not set off any codes because its not really missfireing. I on the other hand do have missfire codes now and the miss has started to intensify

Not saying your wrong, just what i have learned.
ok i have no code but i guess its time to hook up the scan gauge and see what i get. also have you done a compression check. how many miles are you at?

Thats one thing ive been meaning to do. I have 42,xxx miles. im not sure when it started but i started to notice it shortly after i installed my P-WERKS Stage 2 trans. I have checked for anything that might have been put back together incorrectly but everything has turned up ok.
BTW there are lots of other things you can check. If you look at the list of things ive done on my first post, you can kinda check off things you have and have not done. Some are pretty easy to do.
