I was just wondering for those with bigger turbos, have you ever wondered or tried different duration cams, like say crane 12 or 14 on intake for better spool, and like a 16 or 18 on exhaust to better get more flow out of it. I currently have BC S2 and was wondering if their S3 or soon to release S4 cams would work. Maybe increase the power band. Thoughts, ideas. I was just wondering.

I have some 16 cams, and would entertain something like this if someone wanted to work it. I am at high elevation with a 47# DCR S3. I would be interested in a smaller exhaust cam, to take advantage of the smaller turbo, and spool more quickly.
Well I am running a 60-1 set up on mine, and I was thinking that a smaller cam would help spool, cause a friend on mine has BC S3's and it increased his turbo spool from like around say 3800 to almost 5K. With the smaller cam on the int. it would close sooner helping spool, right? or do I have this backwards.
IIRC, you need a smaller exhaust cam than intake for quicker spool. When I say smaller, I mean duration. I could be wrong on that, it has been a while since I have looked at it.
Do you guys have any 14's in stock? I am running 16's (on Nemo's recommendation), and they are just too much for my combination, at my elevation (~7000').
I am going to try it, Im gonna ask my friend if i can use his S3 intake cam and see if there is a difference. Ill keep you all informed, course I will have to wait till we have a dyno day to see what they really do. When I install them I will have them set to 0 on the cam gears.

Willing to sell the 16's? I seen some 14's for sale in the for sale section (BNIB $400).
