Yes, you did come off as stating that your work was 'excellent' and all AMM and I were trying to say was that if you are happy with the results then great. What I am trying to say is that I can see from the video that it is no where near the level of quality of several vendors on here (myself included) so we are just correcting your perspective.
And if CNC did say good luck, it's with good reason. If you don't have the experience in porting heads, chances are they are not balanced between all the ports, their individual shapes will most likely also be different and I'm sure the flow charts would show this as well.

after it's all said & done, everyone who's looked at it, can't tell me one thing bad about what I did to it. I didn't reinvent the wheel. I simply stated, I took it upon myself to port & polish my own head. I built it to my spec, for what I plan to use\do with it.
every single person who buys a ported head, then puts it on, with a completely stock intake manifold just wasted your money!!!!
yeah all your ports are perfectly the same, but I have some bad news for you. The stock intake manifold design doesn't flow = to all cylinders. not to mention how it's only about 43mm on the opening at the head, vs 46mm at the opening on the stock cylinderhead casting.

I explained how I was weighting my options. The head I want isn't the head a guy with a 35R wants. 2 different areas of operation.
I'm using stock cams, stock springs, and retainers, why? because they can take 7500rpm safely. I know I reved stock spring\valve train to 7800rpm, before I did cams and a head in a 1st gen, then over 8000rpm was doable, even 9000 if you could get it that high.
I made no buts about it, I'm going 4 nozzle. stg3 car.

I'd rather promote another business anyday of the week, then to burn a bridge. There is way too much work out there to have an issue with another cylinder head guy or whatever business it is. I wouldn't even be in business if it wasn't for all the Engine Builders and Cylinder Heads Port Designers that are willing to invest in our Company. Dude, I CNC program for one of my own competitors! a ported head alone will nets gains ddog............. u dont need a worked over intake to make power with ur ported head, although it will help to make even more power,u dont need one............. and jason i know what u mean i was just messing with ya. thumbsup:

I know that both those cars are fast, but I ran a 11.87 at 121.98mph on a small shot of nitrous last year.
Welcome to this year, the car goes under the knife this week for the new head, wideban, 2000 egt, and 4nozzle. you can see what my car did on boost alone after the rebuild. I hold 27PSI+ in 4th gear.
I'm going to shoot for the moon no pun intended this year. I have all the tools for safety going in, and all forged internals for strength.

Your not too much ahead of that in fact I think the stage 3 would still pull on you. it is what it is. put me and him at 28psi...id LOVE to see it. i spool IDENTICAL to him. thing is, itll never happen. we dont need nor want to boost that high to prove whos faster. we run our daily driven tunes, and thats that. its all friendly fun out here.
as for the 49lb s3...it is what it is. it had the DCR Pro series head. it WAS tuned right. we jus couldnt tune it to HOLD HOM.
i will tell you this...i have ANOTHER friend...almost same identical setup...49lb s3, built head, 12's, 3nozzle meth, full bolt ons...TUNED BY AARONNEON w/ an AEM EMS.
he made 400hp/420tq on pump, and made 420hp/450tq on racegas/meth and 26psi. it doesnt get any better than a full tune by aaronneon.
considering we did 400 on pump, and 415hp on racegas and 25psi, id say we are about as close to his numbers as it gets.
and fact is, i beat his car w/ me on pump, him on race. the tune was legit. we spent 3 fuckin hours tuning it. adjusting cams. adjusting fuel. dont act like you know our business.

not every1 runs their cars balls to the wall. geezer's car is a daily driven 400+hp/tq car that he commutes in. he has no desire to run 28psi. and neither do i.

I think I have seen a few pics in here before, have you searched just this section to see if there are any?
Also have you emailed anyone at dcr for them? I know I have a few pics of my own work that I sometimes share for customers...

of our races locally. tuning a 49lb wheel w/ higher cylinder pressures than intended (from comparison to a stock s3) makes it hard to hold hom. but eh, you're the man, and know whatsup. like i said, the race/pump tunes were spot on. HOM...not so much. dont bitch at me on that tho. i was the cam tuner, not the fuel tuner.
like i said tough guy...we race what we brung. and thats our everyday tune and all i was comparing is my pump gas car to their bigwheel s3 setups on racegas
