Default 50 trim, 6500 rev limit, and BC2 cams

Im wondering if the BC2's decrease spool time at all? My non bb 50trim spools ok but a little quicker would be nice with a bump in power up top too.

thanks,
-Jesse

maybe 1-200rpms... if that.

widening duration and increasing lift will only increase spool time since pressure is decreased as well as velocity (the speed the exhaust is pushed out thru the valves).

use the cam to take advantage of the extra hp gains up top.

break boost is your friend.

if you need spool, lower down to a .48ar on your 50t. i hit 20psi at 3200...thats stomping on it at 2500 in 3rd.

Right on thanks man. How much slower would it spool with 272's?

Why would you put those cams in a stock head? Upgraded valvesprings are not that expensive especially when you compare it to the risk of one binding up and dropping a valve onto your piston. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

Of course I have valvesprings to go with the cams, crane valvesprings. I meant stock head as in no portwork.

Ok well that's good to hear. I was mainly referring to this guy but he could be meaning the same thing as you.
