yeah they fit. i personally havent done it but there are a few on this forum running stock neon valves. when i build my head for my car im going with crane 12's or 2.0's, springs, and dohc valves.

i am almost 100% positive that the stock neon valves are +2 and not +3.

it is. problem is i guess is the material of them get burnt up easily when put thru the abuse and egt's of a srt...

thats what ive HEARD tho, and not sure how that plays out inactual conditions.

+1/+2valves machined and installed is only like 200 tho...so its not bad at all..

that's somewhat true, srt inconel exhaust valve are the most durable on the planet, 2nd only to titanium for heat temperment, but not strenght. I'm in the process of building a head. I'm going with stock valves, just a port and polish. The toughest part for me, is finding someone to do cams, to my spec. I want a .345 lift on the intake, and .285 on the exhaust. I know I won't be able to find what I'm looking for.

why so small on the exh?
stock is .261. 2.0's are .315

why not jus run the 2.0 exh cam?

i lost ZERO spool time w/ my 2.0s after they were tuned...

if not, contact crower...they do custom grinds for customers..

Honestly, I have a set of 2.0L dohc here in my hands. There's too much exhaust & lift, that and the fact the ramp is more steep, and doesn't hold the valve open as long as the .260's of the stock srt.

I'm limited with my stg3 pcm, but I kinda like that. I know that .345 lift on the intake will yield the best of both worlds, with that rpm window in which I'm trying to perfect. The exhaust I only want .285lift, with the same ramp profile on the exhaust side of a stocker. The power should be bumped up in the rpm, but it should yield excellent gain from 3000-6000rpm, and start to fall off, before the 6500 RL. I've thought about doing the 2.0, but I'm thinking about have someone machine down the lobes, to the spec I want? That's if the profile in the cam will allow that, I doubt it thou. I've had both in my hands, to compare them, many times. I'm in the middle of a pickle on this, iwth a back ordered head blues.

that's the plan.........we'll see...... I had the beast running, put a couple of hundred miles on the car. Only to find the stock head, I had cleaned, decked has a micro crack in it somewhere. The car was eating coolant, and doing the same shit I took it apart in the 1st place. Cracked head FTL!!!!

Honestly, I don't want to toot my own horn, but it was nasty. The only good I can take away from this, is now I can do the head, cam, gears now!!!

everthing else I did!!!
