Default 2.0l cam questions

im looking into different cams and was wondering why everyone uses 2.0l cams. and i know they are very cheap, but what are the specs of the cam and whats the rev limit? thanks in advance.

usually im all about helping people in this section..

but in the past 3 months, 2.0s have been the most active topic in this area.

research! everything you need to know and will learn to know will be had in a quick 10minute search.

the exhaust cam is much larger, which makes more power. Stock turbo you will only get like 10-15 hp when tuned w/ adj. cam gears. It's an 8-10 hr install so maybe not worth it unless you are already in there for something else. If you don't use adj. cam gears you will lose power.

lol 8 to 10 hour install? Maybe for someone with a prosthetic arm....

the hardest part is getting that PITA mount out/off and getting the harmonic balancer off. The rest is pretty straight forward. There are several how-to's on this HELL there is a sticky on 2.0 cams right at the top of the cam section
