Default 2.0 cams= wicked lean

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that with 2.0 cams if the car runs alot leaner? welll i installed mine and the cam gears (I=2 adv E=6ret) and i had to drop 5 psi of boost and had to add 8psi of fuel pressure. and it still comes up lean at about 5000rpms. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing???
