If you look over on the crossfire website they are saying I asked two questions and neither was answered, not true at all. I asked in question #1 will the n/a crossfire gear fit the srt6 and if if they knew if a gear change would put the car in limp mode due to the ecu monitoring axle speed. They DID answer and they said we dont have a crossfire specialist on hand for the interchangeability question, but we can say that yes if you change gear ratios without recalibrating, it will go into limpmode, so there is the answer. question #2 I then asked can a local dealer recalibrate this, they did not answer this question. --------I currently have a friend that works for Chrysler looking into the recalibration thing right now.

you Crossfire guys gotta remember Chrysler dealers arent anywhere near as much help as an experienced Benz/AMG dealer. Contact Brabus, Kleeman and the such for help with those type of questions

Very true, I was just throwing it out there hoping they knew! I'm Looking into it further now. The car is a Daimler/Chrysler Bastard child, Benz will not accept it as one of their own so you get left with Chrylser scratching their head over it! To ask Benz a direct question you would need to give them an exact model for comparison, but you can't it's part C32 and part SLK 32. So you have to do your homework,,,,But it's worth it, it is a great car for the money imo.
dude a few months back i heard what happened to sema crossfire srt6 that SRT guys did up. I almost cried...wait i did after i heard ALL of the goodies that were on it

I would love to see it! I just figured there was no reason to show interest in it on their behalf or promote it since it is no longer made and there are so few of them. But maybe they are thinking SRT6 avenger's????
Unfortunatley since the srt6 is a bastard child of daimler chrysler we are on our own figuring things out. Which is a shame because with great support these cars would be so much better by now. Being basically an AMG with chrysler badging is a curse just as much as its a blessing. The aftermarket for these cars is slow, but coming around, so well see how it all plays out.
the drifter.....i cant say all that was in it but i can assure you all that it was enough to make each and every one of you wake up in the middle of the night for weeks to come.

I don't think that's even an SRT6 because they didn't come standard only autos'. Unless it's got something else under the hood it's all show. You can subtract about 285 hp and left over is what that's got.
