Smile Software Performance

OK, I'm a newbee to the American car market. The only reason I leased this car is that it had the guts of the Benz SLK32 from a few years ago. With that said, there has got to be some simple software changes to the engine controller that will boost power and not void my lease.
The question I have for the few SRT6 owners is... What invisible changes can be made to boost power that I can either remove before the lease end or is simply invisible to the dealership?

Just posted this over at chargerforums.com.
"Okay fellow motorheads, a friend of mine just got a Crossfire SRT6. Any idea where he can get info. There's little to no SRT6 talk at SRTForums, although he's trying to start some.

He'd love to get a programmer for it.

Any supporting vendors have/can get anything?"

renntech is the best place for aftermarket AMG performance parts that are Mercedes approved. I believe it's www.renntechmercedes.com enjoy.

Default checked out renntech

Brand new owner of a black srt6 roadster. Drove an 02 slk32 the day before and it just did not feel as solid as the crossfire. To anyone who has only seen pictures of one, especially black,it is much cooler in person. It is way cooler in my garage where, because of the snow-ice storm today,it must stay for several days. Anyway, renntech has a bigger pulley and ecu upgrade for the slk that will increase 40 hp and more torque both at a lower rpm.
best regards
Noel

Default Pwerchip seems to have a nice ecu upgrade

Does anyone know about powerchip? http://www.powerchipgroup.com/intera...sp?pid=Chr0009 They seem to have a nice package for ecu upgrades. Looks like 330bhp to 353 bhp and torque goes up to about 328 ft-lbs. The only problem is you have to remove the ecu and ship it out. That may be the case for all of them. The real sweet deals is that I lease my car and I don't want the dealer to know about the mod. They claim that the dealer will have no clue, even if they try to look for the software changes.

Anyone have any experience with this company?

Renntech has nothing on the Crossfire srt6.

Default waiting for Renntech

Renntech doesn't have a kit yet for the srt6 but they do have a complete blower kit for the base crossfire that was developed before the srt6.It cost a whopping $22000. I have to believe they are working on a pulley and/or chip setup for the srt6 or the slk system probably works as is on the srt.
