I talked to Bob Brady at Renntech and he says their pulley/ecu upgrade for the slk32 is compatible with the srt-6.Bumps up 47 hp and 60 ft/lbs.He also said the ratings,330 hp/310 ft/lbs is probably low and really the closer to the slk's numbers.

Damn...I just ordered the sl55 intake mod for my car from evosport. I hope it'll fit. I'm trying to find headers and exhaust for my car, then I'll get the pulley and ecu upgrade.
Do you know if that ECU reprogramming leans out the car or what sort of changes are made to get that extra 47HP? There's no Air/Fuel wideband or Exhaust gas temp gauge and you certainly wouldn't want to lean it out too much and get detonation/knock... There's a knock sensor on the SRT-4, haven't yet inspected if there is a similar device on the SRT-6. With that reprogramming, it hopefully won't throw any bad OBD2 codes.
I haven't seen may dyno sheets on the SRT-6 to see exactly what the power band really is and what A/F's are normal..... That would be good to get if anyone has any postings of their dynos.
I have to believe it's all about the larger pulley. Larger diameter; higher rpm sooner. The reprogram deals with the added boost.I'm going to pop K&N filters in and dyno it to see where we're really at.
well i went ahead and ordered green filters for mine. i've been looking for a place that sold the sl55 intake mod. i'll have to look it up on evosport. sohc let me know how the installation goes.

When I get it installed I'll let you guys know. The sl55 mod from what I understand includes Y pipe, adapters, clamps and green filters. I also ordered clear corners from CTD-Germany. I can't find clear corners anywhere. Now I'm trying to find an exhaust system for the car.
Ya, if you could post some pics of that intake change, I'd like to see it. The green filters and the TrueFlows (which work great in SRT-4) are fairly close in scope for a quick/cheap aftermarket filter. Intakes usually get you more power at the top end than the bottom end (for SRT-4 at least). Hell, the top end on an SRT-6 and you'd better be at a track straight-away since you'll be well into triple digit speeds. Get those dyno sheets posted though. Would be good to see what the low end and high end increases are on a graph to see how linear they might be from a stock set up.
Mr. NeedSwings, we are pretty scattered.. Hawaii, San Jose, Milwaukee.... Do you have a van like those dent repair guys? Pay us a visit.
From my limited understanding higher flow intake on non-forced induction engines and turbo engines will see the most benefit on the high end.Is the filter on turbo motors is after the turbocharger? The filter on most superchargers motors is before the blower as it is on the srt6?
I'm going to put drop in box k&n in mine.
pics to come. btw the roads here are finally dry and I tried some half throttle launches with the trac control off. The michelin pilots may be great all around rubber but man, it is virtually impossible to keep the rear end strait and I'm not even close to laying into it. Different tires may be in order. Any suggestions?

"Is the filter on turbo motors is after the turbocharger?"
