Default Hey, what's everyone getting for mileage on Cross-SRT6?

Well,

I thought I'd start this thread since Calif. 91 super octane just crossed $3.00 a gallon here in sunny Calif.... We don't get 93 octane out here due to air/smog requirements.....

So, here's an "open" thread.... What sort of mileage is everyone getting on their Crossfire (under varying driving conditions)? It's rated at 17/24 MPG. But, driving style of course could go either way. I haven't started mearsuring the wife's SRT-6 since she always fills it and doesn't really log mileage. My SRT-4 is great on fuel at an average of 24-25 mpg combined driving. New intake going on will hopefully push it up to 26 or 26.5. But, what's the good "average" that anyone has experienced on the SRT-6 for freeway-mostly, around-town mostly, and combined? This way, I may not have to start fastidiously logging/checking when the wife goes for a fill up and doesn't tell me. Thanks.

Don't know yet still working the my first tank; the one it came with when I picked it up from the dealer. I'll have to filler up this week with some good old 93, sorry Cuda340man we can get 93 oct here in Wisconsin

Side note, has anyone checked out oil filters, this could be expensive. I don't think your going to find it at any auto parts store.

I use the K&N Racing filter in my SRT-4. Don't know if they make one for the SRT-6. Check their site. www.kandnengineering.com. Post up when you start gathering mileage info... Nice to have a fast, great car that is good for touring and not bankrupting you in the process... beyond the cost of the original car and insurance, mind you (age and driving record dependent on that last one).
