Default Buyin an SRT6!

Hey all,
Just wanted to see if there is any support in here for the srt6 Crossfire. Already own a worked srt4 and wanted something new to play with. Let me know how you guys like your srt6's. Any info about your rides would be great!

I love my srt6. I used to have an srt4 as well and although I miss the tubo, the flat torque curve of the supercharger is great. We just need a little more aftermarket support. I would love a twin turbo conversion. Welcome and congrats. There's a crossfire specific forum here: crossfireforum.org

yes it is a supercharged 6. The amg badge was something put on aftermarket, although the entire drivetrain is out of a mercedes sl 32 amg. The supercharger actually has amg stamped into it.

I have a SRT6, i had a modded SRT4 prior to it, there was a winter car in there for 4 months before i went back to the SRT platform lol, but thats another story.

The SRT6 is a great car if you can live with a true 2 seater. It handles likes its on rails, as good in the corners on the streets as a srt4 on coilovers. The interior is small and comfortable, but you get use to it pretty quickly. Last night i drove a srt4 at a bbq we were having and its a night and day difference inside the cars.

The power of the SRT6 comes on COMPLETELY different the car SRT4, it is a linier delivery because of the S/C. At first i thought that the car was quick, but not too much different then my modded srt4, then after a few pulls on the street and a few times at the track, i was suprised. So far my best time is 13.06 @ 109mph bone STOCK on all-season continental tires.

Everything that i've read and seen on the car is that the car is basically 80% Mercedez-Benz. The SLK32 AMG to be exact. A car that cost about $10k-$15k more then a SRT6. The only difference is the body is Chrysler, and they de-tuned the car to have 19 less hp then the SLK32 AMG.

I dyno'd mine about a month after i got mine and put down 290whp on a dyno jet.

Best part about it, I picked mine up for $24,900, the car had 5600 miles on it. They can be had at that price all day it appears to be now.

As for aftermarket support... its EXPENSIVE overall...

Renntech is one company that deals with the carwhen it comes to pulleys and flashes. But its something like $4000 to get you to run 12.6 with the renntech kit on stock tires.

I also believe that Brabus might be able to work on the car as they are a MB tuner, but they are $$$$$ when it comes to that from what i can tell.

Thanks so much for the info...
This one has 60 miles on it for about $25,000! I asked the dealership how it is possible but it is. Never been titled and full factory warranty! Did tons of research online about the car. Knew it was slk32 amg hand down. But at that price plus the deco styling! I can't pass it up! I thought Renn and Brab might work on these since they are MB. But was looking for a little less $$$. I will let you all know down the line if I find something. Thanks for the SRT6 group URL. Even if I garage it for now, most SRTs are holding values very well and I think the SRT6 will be a good investment. Hope to have a pic of it on here soon.

As long as you are under 6 feet tall it is fine, im 6'4" and cant sit in it for more than an hour. Very fast and fun to drive car. (would be even more fun if there was zero traction control!) Upgrade the stock continentals and holy shit does it handle even better! Great car overall.

i sees no pic. and being over 6', there's no way i'd ever buy a crossfire, srt or not. i drove one for a couple laps at the daytona infield at the srt experience. they're fun to drive, but holy hell are they small inside.

it shows the sig at the top not, but not in the replies??? Dunno... Anyway...being only 5'9", I love it!!! It is a very different beast than my SRT4. But I love them both. Yes the XF SRT6 is designed by Karmann built in Germany by AMG. It is basically an 04 SLK32 AMG in Chrysler clothes designed by the same as Ghia! Rare combination. I think it's a keeper. Read that DC is giving them away right now. Less than 6000 built. If SRT4's keep getting crashed they'll be less than 15,000 left soon. Both are extremely collectible. Love em both.
