Apparently the Crossfire SRT-6 has a "learning" or "adaptability" to the drivers "style". Not much goes into the details though. Anyone know how it works? What is the "cycle time" for this so-called learning? 10 minutes? 15 minutes? Does it reset when the engine is off? Or is it a more "long term average" where it measures what you do everyday to eventually come up with auto-tune to your "style"?
Problem is, my wife drives the car too... That will certainly throw off things if 2 different driving styles are in the mix..... And SHE's the one with the really lead foot.
RSVP with links and/or input text. English please, no German.. even though it's a German algorithm....
dependent on the driving style, the driving situation and the road characteristics.I have a BMW 750il that is similar and states that during driving so I don't know how long it takes. I'll do a search on the slk32 as it has the same tranny a see what I find.

Hey cool... Thanks a bunch.... Would be good for others to know as well. With that small jewel of knowledge you would pretty much no "how long" to "auto-tune" the car for general driving or track-related fun, or whatever driving conditions you would care to enter into... beyond the "sport" and "winter" mode switch that is....
If you disconnect the disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes the tran computer will reset to factory settings for automatic mode which is set pretty aggressivly.
There's a simple reset. insert the key in the ignition, turn key to position 1, depress gas pedal and hold it down, wait 10 seconds, turn key to off position, release gas pedal. Now you have cleared the adaptive back to 0's
