Installed intake gasket
So...did anyone else end up having to modify the bottom bracket?

No Man, I just put mine on last weekend and it fit perfect! I didn't have to change a thing. So what did you have to do, or what do you mean modify?

I ended up having to open up the top hole of the bracket just a bit...the extra thickness of the bracket made it so that the top bolt just barely wouldn't line up properly.

Same here, no modification necessary. Was it just a little misaligned or was it alot?

Just a little. Maybe a millimeter, if that. Just enough that the bolt wouldn't go in.

I just loosened the bracket and with just a little bit of angling, it fit right in with no problem. Then after I got the gasket in, it bolted right back. I installed it yesterday arvo.

Ok...just me then. I think the reason was that I tightened and torqued the bolts to spec before putting the bracket on. Just enough to misalign it...

That bracket should have 2 bolts holding it on, one on either side. I just loosened both and it was free to move to wherever I needed it.
